At exactly 4:36, it appears as if he momentarily forgets which gear he's in when he reaches for the stick. Any idea how many shifts he makes in that lap alone?

Here's a good one of Mosport. It's actually Matt White (OTD member "ProDrive") qualifying his Formula Ford in a past race weekend.
Of particular note is Turn 4 (downhill left-hander under the Continental bridge) taken flat-out . Can't do that in the Z06!

Ok, either I'm blind or there's no link posted in your message.

I would love to race a late 90's Swift but Formula Atlantic is way too expensive for me. I could probably do Formula Continental but even then I'm not sure I want to put out the expense. My goal is to track my RX7 for 2 more years and then make a decision whether to stay with just lapping days, or jump into competitive racing.

Not YouTube, but some carnage going on at the start of this race:

Interesting as the driver isn't bothering to rev match on the downshifts, but it doesn't seem to be effecting the car all that bad so I don't think he cares.

Wow, that is some CRAZY footage, LOL. There's a lot going on there! I love how the debris is flying past the camera.
Yeah, it's a testament to those Lotus engines (and differential) that they can put up with that- seems like he didn't need to be grabbing a lower gear for a lot of those turns!
Nice one!

Senna drives NSX
Pro-Drive told me about this one.
Ayrton Senna uses all the track at Suzuka in an Acura NSX. Love the shoes!
