Yeah, that was my only complaint, too. But I forgive them, since they had 2 camera angles on that drift!
What's the name of the song?

My guess is multiple drifts, shot from different angles, one camera.

TPG is doing well. GTR2 is dying off in favor of GTR Evolution. Right now the GTR2 races are seeing 5-7 drivers per race (if we are lucky). GTR Evo is seeing around 12-20 racers per race so that will probably be the sim going forward. BTW, TPG is hosting NC Euro's league in GTR Evo. Their next race is on Mosport next week.
There is a new rFactor endurance league starting up from Holger (Ghost) of Team BER:
Team BER - online Motorsports - Home
Right now they are only 2 hour races so no driver swaps. However there are plans to do 4+ hour races in 2009 if the series begins to take off. They have had 2 races so far but I haven't been in one yet. First one, my PC crashed as it went to grid. The second one I had family plans I couldn't shake. If you are interested, let me know. I'd love to have you in a team car for a race or two.

Cool. I'll check out the enduro schedule when I get back from vacation.
What is the diff between GTR2 and Evolution? Is it the same physics? And, can you still downshift a sports car like an F1 car?

The physics are more like RACE 07 than GTR2. The cars have less grip than GTR2 and less engine braking. So, some of things people exploited in GTR2 to "go faster" are not as prevalent in GTR Evo. Fast drivers are still fast, but the difference is much closer.

Well, you can still button-shift down pretty quick. Not as quickly as GTR2, and the engine braking isn't as exaggerated, but you can still downshift pretty quick. I would call it on par with how fast people shift the Solstice in iRacing (which is still more then they could do in real life, but better than GTR2 ).

When you say button-shift, are guys actually mapping the shift functions to buttons or keys, rather than the paddles??

To be honest, I have no idea which they are using. Either one, they aren't taking their hands off their driving wheels for cars that in real life would have either an H or sequential shifter. I know it puts me at a disadvantage since I use an Act Labs shifter. The guys who use buttons or paddles are shifting at places that I wouldn't dare remove my hand off the wheel. In their case, they aren't either but they are still shifting. For me though, it helps me keep in a rhythm for when I go back to driving a real car on the track.
Heck, I actually use my clutch pedal when driving the Solstice in iRacing.
